Alex Marquez secured his fifth points scoring finish from nine MotoGP races this season, after taking the checkered flag in P14 at Assen. The former 2019 Moto2 world champion gained one place at the start from P15, but that was as far as the progress went for Marquez. “300x1There were several incidents that happened ahead of Marquez which ultimately contributed to the Spaniard’s points finish as Jack Miller ed late on from sixth, while Valentino Rossi and Jorge Martin also went down whilst ahead.
