Having ridden to a MotoGP best of seventh place at the Emilia Romagna round, Alex Marquez took a step back with 13th in Barcelona.Check out the MotoGP YouTube channel – CLICK HEREThe Repsol Honda rider’s goal this weekend in Le Mans is therefore to regain the form he had shown at the final Misano event, at a track where he was victorious in Moto2 last season.“Last year the bike worked very well here in Le Mans and also in Aragon, so I am looking forward to riding there,” Marquez said.”We will have to look at the weather forecast because right now it does not look so nice, quite cold and wet but these things can change.”Whatever the conditions, I arrive really motivated for the second half of the season and to push hard to show the potential we had before the race in Barcelona.cnxps.cmd.push(function () { cnxps({ playerId: “004d570a-7977-45f7-bc0c-a349bf945b15” }).render(“5a36b5247b9f4bf5b8815714b45226d6″In the last week I have been training hard with determination to keep improving.”Prior to Le Mans, Marquez will be among the MotoGP riders heading to Portimao for Wednesday’s track familiarisation on a road bike.Also present will be his temporary team-mate Stefan Bradl, whose official status as Honda test rider means he is allowed to ride an RC213V at the Portuguese track.The busy German will spend two days in Portimao, venue for the 2020 season finale, directly followed by three days on track at the Le Mans race weekend.“We start another intense period with three races in a row, as well as a test,” Bradl said. “As always, we will approach each race looking to help HRC as much as possible while pushing for the best result.”Le Mans has the potential to be very interesting with the weather, so we need to see what happens with the rain and what the track temperature is like before we can make any firm plans for the weekend. Hopefully we can have a good weekend and make another step.””4It is not yet clear if Le Mans will be Bradl’s final appearance of the season, amid rumours reigning champion Marc Marquez might return from injury for the following Aragon rounds.
