Hamilton's car suffers pre-race hydraulic leak

Mercedes has confirmed that Lewis Hamilton’s car suffered an hydraulic leak on Saturday afternoon following qualifying, forcing the team to try and resolve the issue in the leup to Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix.Hamilton qualified second for Mercedes on Saturday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve behind Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, but later suffered an hydraulic leak on his W10 car.The team has been working to resolve the issue after of the race after receiving the car back from parc ferme on Sunday.”Lewis’s car has an hydraulic leak that we discovered late yesterday afternoon,” a Mercedes spokesperson confirmed.”We have diagnosed the source after the car came out of parc ferme and are now putting the car back together. We plan to be ready [for the race].”Should the issue be resolved as anticipated, Hamilton will receive no penalty.
