I need to make a step forward with my riding to be up there, but to be starting with a top-three finish is a good sign.”For team-mate Mantovani, the test provided an opportunity to get comfortable with the Energica Ego Corsa bike for the first time. Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE line-up revealedaccImages.createImage(); Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE line-up revealedThis season will be the 26 year-old’s first experience of racing electric bikes in his career and finished only (+0.467s) behind Ferrari. He did have a small – hurting his right foot, but Mantovani was able to get back on track and complete his testing programme. “We got better each and every day and improving by one second each time,” said Mantovani. “It’s a great challenge: it’s a new way to ride the bike but I felt immediately comfortable with both the bike and the team. I was expecting a more difficult bike when changing direction, but the balance is excellent. I’m really confident!.”Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha confirms Maria Herrera for WorldSSP seasonaccImages.createImage(); Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha confirms Maria Herrera for WorldSSP season
