MotoGP’s latest race winner Jack Miller won his first race in five years at Jerez – a wait he’ll certainly aim to avoid again with Le Mans potentially being another winning opportunity. Miller has somewhat of a ‘love-hate’ relationship as he called it during the pre-event press conference with the French circuit. Miller took his one and only victory on French soil in 2014 on the way to finishing runner-up in Moto3, while in MotoGP, Miller has two fourth place finishes as his best results, but also suffered one of the biggest es we’ve seen at turn one in 2017.”Yeah definitely! I have a love-hate relationship with France and Le Mans especially. I had the win here in Moto3, I nearly died here in turn one and last year I did feel like I died here when the bike cut out with 7 laps to go,” said Miller. Weather conditions are expected to be wet and not too dissimilar to those of Assen 2016 where he claimed his first MotoGP win, and if Miller is to win or claim a podium come Sunday, it would go a long way to solving his ‘love-hate’ relationship with the Circuit de la Sarthe.Speaking about the emotion of winning at Jerez and coming here to Le Mans, Miller said: “It’s a whole mix of everything. Relief, but also it makes you more eager for the next one. Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Zarco: High motivation to do a great result here in FranceaccImages.createImage(); Alex Marquez: It’s very difficult to control when the arm pump starts”At the end of the day us bike racers are always looking for what’s next and we always want more, so for sure I’m just looking at coming here and doing a strong weekend like we did in Spain. . “I think we’re prepared for all conditions that are coming this weekend. I’ve been known to be pretty good in the wet if that comes. “I definitely feel like I have a score to settle with Le Mans after last year so I’m looking forward to being here.”Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Alex Marquez: It’s very difficult to control when the arm pump startsaccImages.createImage(); MotoGP Gossip: Lorenzo calls Rossi ‘slow’ and ‘imprecise’…Yamaha and Ducati are the only two manufacturers that have looked like winning each of the four races so far, and with both enjoying recent success at Le Mans, chances are they will be the favorites come Sunday’s race yet again.
