F1 Live F1 Replay F1 Standings

McLaren Racing has become the latest team to unveil its own livery tweak ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix and the 2020 F1 season opener, with a design inspired by the sport’s #WeRaceAsOne initiative.Already bearing one of the more striking liveries in the F1 grid with its distinctive papaya orange and blue livery design, for 2020 McLaren will tip a nod towards doing its bit to promote greater diversity and opportunity in the F1 paddock.  Last week F1 unveiled the #WeRaceAsOne scheme which pledges to raise inclusivity in motorsport, which itself was inspired by the global Black Lives Matter movement.McLaren MCL35 Renault accImages.createImage();While McLaren had already demonstrated its own support with the inclusion of a rainbow design – the associated symbol of the LGBT community – on the halo, the Woking company have gone to more creative lengths just as Pride Month comes to an end to incorporate the design into the sidepods too.It makes McLaren the third team to reveal a tweaked new look for the 2020 F1 season, which has waited almost four months to get underway as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.McLaren Racing MCL35 accImages.createImage();Earlier this week Mercedes pledged its own commitment to improving diversity across its own company and paid tribute to its champion Lewis Hamiltoin’s impassioned views on racism to transform the ‘Silver Arrow’ into an all-black design. In addition, Williams also features a new look for the first race of the season after losing title back ROKiT in May resorting to a more traditional blue and white livery for George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.Unity. Solidarity. Hope.Introducing our new-look MCL35 livery, which incorporates the #WeRaceAsOne rainbow and will proudly carry the ‘End Racism’ message. B6fLeADozM— McLaren (@McLarenF1) July 1, 2020
