Franco Morbidelli and Alex Rins may currently be outside the MotoGP title top three, but with an Aragon victory each they arrive at the final tripleheader with momentum on their side.Check out the MotoGP YouTube channel – CLICK HEREMorbidelli closed to within 25 points of Joan Mir after his second win of the year, while Rins sits 32 points adrift of his Suzuki team-mate heading into Valencia this weekend.”I feel great and I have a great feeling with the bike,” said Petronas Yamaha’s Morbidelli, the only M1 rider using the lower A-spec bike. “Maybe me and Alex joined a little late the party, but we are trying to catch up anyway.”I will try to give the maximum in these last three races in order to get the championship, because we are here now fighting for that and we need to aim at that, to have no regrets at the end of the year.”In whichever way it will go it will be a positive championship for me, a nice story anyway.”But at this point, three races from the end, 25 points behind and having the momentum that we have we need to aim for something big.”While at a points disadvantage, the Italian is hoping he can profit from the pressure being focussed on Mir, Fabio Quartararo (-14 points) and Maverick Vinales (-19 points).”Being in a fight for a championship is a strange and strong feeling. It’s a feeling that I had in 2017 [in Moto2] and that most of the [top six riders] have had in the past,” Morbidelli said.”Having that feeling again is for sure nice and bad at the same time.”I’m 25 points behind so I need to catch up and do everything perfectly. But basically I have nothing to lose.”I think that the guys that are behind have a little bit of advantage in this way, but a disadvantage in view of the points. Maybe we have less pressure, so we can force a little bit more compared to the front guys.””4Rins agreed that there is less pressure for those further from the top and is just happy to still be in contention after a nightmare start to the season.”This season my results were a bit irregular with the shoulder injury and small mistakes. So I’m happy to still have the chance to fight for the championship,” said Rins.”Our target needs to be to try to fight for the podium positions as we did in Aragon. I’m 32 points behind so I think we don’t have the pressure, so we will try to ride like free.””5″We will never know if I didn’t have that unlucky in qualifying, but for sure I’m quite happy to be here trying to fight for the top positions,” he added of his shoulder dislocation.”And I’m happy to see Suzuki on top. Also we are on top of the teams’ championship, so Suzuki is quite happy. Because it means we did a good job.”
