Jake Dixon is confirmed to be returning to Moto2 World Championdship action for this weekend’s French MotoGP after injury forced him out of previous two rounds in the US and Spain.

Dixon, British Superbike Championship runner-up in 2019, was forced onto the sidelines in Jerez after a during Moto2 practice in Texas left him with a concussion.

However, Dixon will be back on the Angel Nieto Team KTM in Le Mans with the 23-year-old targeting his first points of the season.

“I feel better every day after the at the Grand Prix of the Americas. Missing the race at Jerez wasn’t ideal because we had a lot of information for that circuit having tested there in preseason, but at least it was positive to have a rider like Pasini on the KTM.

“We were able to gather more data and it will help KTM know which direction to take. The only thing on my mind now is Le Mans, a circuit I have always wanted to race at, mainly because of the history there in MotoGP and the 24 hours. I’m also really looking forward to seeing the team again.”
