Petronas Sprinta Racing have confirmed it will retain Jake Dixon for the 2021 Moto2 World Championship season in an unchanged rider line-up for its intermediate class outfit.Check out the MotoGP YouTube channel – CLICK HEREDixon joins the PSRT set up at the start of the 2020 Moto2 season after making the unconventional leap from the British Superbike Championship to Moto2 in 2019 with Aspar, but while the Englishman admits he has had to embark on a steep learning curve, the fruits of his labour are now beginning to show.Cracking the top ten for the first time in his career with a run to eighth position in July’s Styria MotoGP, Dixon has since gone on to lower that personal best to a fourth place finish at the most recent Aragon MotoGP round, while he led for a large portion of the French MotoGP.Remaining alongside Xavi Vierge in an unchanged line-up, Dixon is proud to have held onto his seat for 2021 and is setting his sights on a title challenge now.”I am so happy to be continuing with PETRONAS Sprinta Racing for another year. It made sense for both parties to be continuing, as it was only my first season with the team, and the Kalex chassis, this year and we’re only getting stronger together. “We’re already achieving great things and I think we can seriously consider being able to mount a title challenge in 2021.
