– Repsol Honda boss Alberto Puig has revealed he received an enquiry from Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso about a possible return to the team. Responding to Dovizioso’s ‘surprise’ over Marquez’s four-year deal to keep him in the team until 2024, Puig says the Italian ‘some time ago, not long ago, he [Andrea] came to speak to us and asked us if she could drive for Honda again…’ Dovizioso made his MotoGP debut in 2008 on Honda machinery and competed with the factory team in 2009, 2010 and 2011. (Marca)- Brno and the Red Bull Ring in August may have been identified as the provisional starting location for the much-delayed 2020 MotoGP World Championship but there is talk a re-arranged July 19th race at Jerez could also be on the cards. With the original May date for the Spanish MotoGP postponed, a vast improvement on the coronavirus situation in the country could allow the season to begin earlier than expected. (Speedweek)- Livio Suppo says Marc Marquez’s huge 250km/h during the 2013 Italian MotoGP round at Mugello proved his mettle after he ‘saw death’ but instantly wanted to get back on the bike. Suppo says most believed Marquez’s raised arm signal as he was picking himself up seconds after the spectacular incident was to show he was OK, but instead it was aimed at the pit crew to get his spare Honda ready to go (AS via Visordown)- Pecco Bagnaia says he wants to compete in the Suzuka 8 Hours superbike event on a Ducati alongside Pramac Racing team-mate Jack Miller. Though success in the endurance event has traditionally been the reserve of the big Japanese four (Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha), Bagnaia believes the new Ducati Panigale V4 R with the right riders could cause an upset on home soil. (GPOne)- While his MotoGP rivals stay ‘match fit’ on the PS4 in the bi-weekly Virtual Grand Prix races, Jack Miller has been busy getting some proper riding under his belt in his Australian outback ranch… and he’s not afraid to show it off on Instagram. Who wants to be Jack Miller right now…? (Instagram)     View this post on Instagram         Epic long weekend with the neighbours!
