Gasly has managed four points finishes for AlphaTauri this year and has also claimed the team’s only Q3 appearances of 2020. A stunning charge to eighth place in last weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps earned him the ‘driver of the day’ accolade.
