He is awake, very cooperative and can do physiotherapy. The disease puts him to the test, but his willpower is always unmatched.”Gresini was first admitted to hospital in Imola on December 27, before being moved to the specialist Covid ward in Bologna on December 30 and placed in a pharmacological coma to combat ‘very low blood oxygen saturation levels’ . Once his condition had improved, Doctors began a slow awakening process from the coma on January 1. Gresini has made steady progress ever since and is now fully conscious, allowing a recent video call for his daughter’s birthday and visit from his wife, although he continues to require the mechanical ventilator to ensure good blood oxygenation. A double 125cc world champion as a rider, Gresini now fields teams in all three motorcycle grand prix class – MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 – plus the electric-bike MotoE World Cup.   Provisional 2021 MotoGP CalendarRoundDateRelated ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Dall’Igna on Dovizioso: ‘I’m sorry when a rider makes such criticisms’accImages.createImage(); Suzuki ‘still investigating’ satellite team despite Brivio exitRaceCircuit1Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); MotoGP’s Marc Marquez undergoes six-week medical checkaccImages.createImage(); Two days added to Qatar MotoGP Test, Shakedown reduced28 MarchQatarLosail”4211 AprilArgentina”5Termas de Rio Hondo318 April”6AmericasCOTA4″72 MaySpainJerez”8516 MayFrance”9Le Mans630 May”10ItalyMugello76 JuneCatalunyaBarcelona820 JuneNetherlandsAssen927 JuneGermanySachsenring1011 JulyFinland*KymiRing11 To Be Decided 1215 AugustAustriaRed Bull Ring1329 AugustGreat BritainSilverstone1412 SeptemberAragonAragon1519 SeptemberSan Marino e Della Riviera di RiminiMisano163 OctoberJapanMotegi1710 OctoberThailandBuriram1824 OctoberAustraliaPhillip Island1931 OctoberMalaysiaSepang2014 NovemberComunitat ValencianaRicardo Tormo
