In the presentations made in the event, besides many important features, the most prominent ones are “Smart trailer control” and “Smart tire pressure control” developed totally by telematic system. These systems allow drivers and fleet managers to take precautions in order to increase the efficiency and road safety of the trailer.
We have witnessed that the most ambitious and most focused system is telematics. As is the case in other vehicles, Krone uses the telematics systems, that are developed and offered by Krone, in Turkey on refrigerating vehicles, which have a significant place in Turkey. This system, which is carried to the Cool Liner, provides efficient refrigeration logistics by providing heat control.
In addition to these, all kinds of power and comfort brought to the vehicles were reflected to us in presentations. We had the opportunity to observe all the details in every vehicle. Integrating many systems into its own brand not only to improve vehicle technology but also to increase the efficiency of logistics; Krone narrated all the details about Load Stabilization Tent Safe Curtain, Load Area Detection System Smart Scan, Smart Track and Trace System which assist Cargo Loading and Unloading via sensor, Smart Capacity Management System ensuring Smart Capacity Method, Smart Birdview System ensuring full visibility and maneuverability, and Claim Care reporting the demands of users digitally.
With all these developed products and services, Krone brand has shown to the world press in this event that it will make a tremendous impact in 2018 IAA Hannover Commercial Vehicles Fair.
The Highest Investment in the History of Krone
In this event hosted by Bernard Krone, General Manager of Krone Group, the new Krone Cataphoresis Coating Center, which was launched in the main plant in Werlte and has an investment value of 40 million Euros, was officially introduced for the first time. This facility is also the highest investment ever made in 112 years of Krone history.
The new Krone Cataphoresis Coating Center, which is based on an area of ??16,500 square meters and has a height of 20 meters, cataphoresis (KTL) coating that provides the highest level protection against environmental effects and rusting is applied on chassis. Chassis which are exposed to sanding and cathodic root dye are prepared in the most modern way and presented to end users. It takes less than 7 minutes for a chassis to finish the surface coating process in this facility.

Giving explanations about he new Krone Cataphoresis Coating Center, Bernard Krone, General Manager of the Krone Group, said: “There is no more modern technology in the world than we use in this facility. I think that we are also showing our commitment to the Werlte region with this center where we made the highest investment in our history. Reducing emissions of carbon dioxide per chassis by more than 30 percent, this facility also saves 12.6 million kilowatts of electricity annually. In the best possible standards, we will continue to increase our production quality.”

We have built a system that delivers a large part of the work to the robots in Industry 4.0, while there are only 40 employees in this facility, which has the ability to prepare more than 23 thousand orders and ship within a day in every month.

Developed for international road transport, this sliding canopy model is equipped with a special closure technology. With the customs seal, the tent locks are secured and the cargo area is restricted from unauthorized access.
Profi Liner Rig has also been developed also for on-vehicle transport. In the side-cone model, the plan ramp is located on the flat heel of the side-bolt. The standard length of the model for the international market is 13,620 mm. and weighs 12,000 kg of semi-trailers. On its own, the weight is 6,290 kg and the carrying capacity is 31,710 kg.

New Load Stabilizer Tent – Krone Safe Curtain
At the IAA 2018 fair to be held in Hannover, Krone will introduce Safe Curtain load stabilizer tent. Although the name of Tent actually makes all things clear; Krone’s Safe Curtain, the Secure Tent as load stabilizer tent, stands out with high-strength steel spring plates integrated into the vertical PVC tunnel cavities on the side jaws. Thanks to this technology, Krone offers the option of load securing using the side awning without traditional side seals. The advantage of this load-stabilization system, Safe Curtain, is that it offers safer and faster fixing, as well as load-saving. Compared to the classic side tilt with side-bolt, Safe Curtain is about 90 kg. lighter.
