Tırsan Trailer Board Member Zeynep Nuhoğlu, Kässbohrer Board Member İffet Türken, Tırsan Trailer Product Management Director Çetin Sarvan and Kässbohrer Italy Country Manager Kuntay Özkan as well as Conzorzio Zai Board Member Dr. Giandomenico Allegri, Sommacampagna Deputy Governor, Invitalia Authorities, Italy Chamber of Exports Authorities, Unicredit Regional Representatives as well as the region’s important intermodal transportation companies and suppliers have attended the inauguration ceremony at Verona Interporto Quandrante Europa, which is also known as the heart of logistics.
The office welcomes its customers under the Kässbohrer title and it will play an important role in Tırsan’s growth strategy in Europe. Thanks to its location, it will not just offer advantages to its customers in Italy but also in the neighbouring countries.
The sales in Italy, one of Tırsan’s most important semi-trailer markets, has seen a rapid growth in recent years. Compared to the previous year, the company has raised its sales numbers by 42 percent in 2017. In addition to that; in the first month of 2018, it has managed to register more vehicles to traffic than half of the entire figure from 2017.

In his inauguration speech, İffet Türken has told the guests about Kässbohrer’s 125 years of success story. Türken has emphasized that Tırsan has focused on maximizing customer satisfaction by developing innovative solutions and said: “As Tırsan, we continuously invest in R&D and collaborations to offer right trailer solutions to the right customer with over 800 products in over 55 countries. We will increasingly continue our investments and collaborations in the following term.”
Dr. Giandomenico Allegri has underlined that Europe’s largest Interporto Port is located at Verona and said: “We strengthen Italy’s ties with Europe with the 750 meters long platform that is currently constructed. When completed, 16 thousand trains will take off from this platform each year to different countries. Our goal is to realize various joint projects with Tırsan’s Kässbohrer brand. In addition, we’re very pleased that Tırsan chose Interporto Quandrante Europa to inaugurate an office.”
