Sebastian Vettel insists he is in “no rush” to make a decision over his Formula 1 future and is keen to ensure it is the “right” call for himself.Check out the F1 YouTube channel – CLICK HEREThe four-times world champion is leaving Ferrari at the end of the season after the Italian outfit opted not to renew his contract for 2021. Vettel is currently without a drive for next year but has been linked with a switch to Racing Point when it completes its Aston Martin rebrand.Asked if there is any update on his future ahead of this weekend’s British grand Prix, Vettel replied: “I have no answer.“I would give you an answer if I really knew but at the moment I don’t and I think it’s probably realistic to be patient and wait a little bit.“That could be a couple of weeks, that could be longer than that. Time will tell. Nothing has changed to what I mentioned in the last three weeks or prior three races.“I’m not in a rush, I want to make sure that I make the right decision for myself and then take it from there.“I have made it clear, given the right package, I have a lot more to give…it depends on what the options are.”Although Vettel did not categorically rule out taking a potential sabbatical for 2021, the German stressed he feels like he has “a lot more to give” to the sport, while he is also keeping one eye on the regulation changes coming for 2022.“I think I’ve made it quite clear in the last events that given the right package etc then I have a lot more to give,” he explained.”I feel physically driving and so on that I’m no worse than I have been in the years that I’ve been in Formula 1 before. I feel very good and there’s a lot to give, so it depends what the options are.“Looking to the future there’s the big rule change in 2022 which might be exciting or might not be, I think we don’t know sitting here now.”4“I think you always hope for the better and as a fan of the sport I hope so too, but whether I will be there or not I don’t know.”
