Trailers Going Abroad Will Return to the Country with Another Semi-Trailer or Trailer Until July 31st

The International Transporters’ Association (UND) stated that the trailers with Turkish plate number are allowed to return with another semi trailer or trailer provided that they are registered to their own companies to be valid for all land border gates in order to enable companies to carry out their shipments faster due to the corona virus pandemic, until 31 July. It is stated in the statement that; “Within the scope of the information dated 22.05.2020 conveyed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure; It is permitted that the Turkish plate trailers leaving abroad will be able to return to our country with another semi-trailer or trailer provided that they are registered with their own companies until the date of 31.07.2020 with the Authority Approval dated 21/05/2020 and numbered 28623.”

Declaration Form Practice Required to be Filled for Drivers in Entries to Italy Has Been Removed

According to the Italian Prime Ministry Decree, UND announced that no restrictions were imposed on drivers as of 18 May. According to the decree; It was stated that there will be no obligation to report to the local health authorities in Italy and that the declaration form published in the past was no longer required.

Vehicles and Drivers Transit Through Turkey Will Leave The Country ASAP

UND announced that, except for entry and exit from Iran and Iraq Border Crossings for international trade, vehicles and drivers who will transit through our country and vehicles and drivers to enter / exit our country will be granted a pass if certain conditions are met. In accordance with the Circular published by the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Provincial Administration dated May 8, 2020 for vehicles and drivers to transit will be subjected to corona virus check, the vehicle driver’s health check will be carried out by the health units, and people who have symptoms related to the disease in question will not be allowed to pass. Vehicles entering will be subjected to disinfection. Customs administrations will determine the routes and stops for the vehicles that will be in transit, and let all vehicles in transit leave as soon as possible by following through the “vehicle tracking system”. The drivers and vehicles entering in Turkey will be checked by health units, vehicles entering our country will be subjected to disinfection, and priority will be given to the entry of vehicles / drivers carrying medicines, medical supplies and food items that are urgent for our country.

Entry of Exotic and Pet Animals into the Country As Accompanying the Passenger or Within Commercial Scope Has Been Suspended

UND stated that; in accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry dated May 1, 2020, for all purposes, the entry of exotic animals and invertebrates, amphibians, dogs, cats, ferrets, ornamental fish, reptiles, rodents, domestic rabbits and all birds as accompanying the passenger or within commercial scope has been suspended.

Length of Stay in the Country in Transportation to Georgia Increased to 96 Hours

On 5 May, UND announced that the 48-hour period granted to vehicles that will return from Georgia after unloading and that will enter empty and take cargo is increased to 96 hours.
