Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta says the upcoming Valencia rounds of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship are currently not affected by the Spanish government’s decision to approve a State of Alarm in response to rising Covid cases.Check out the MotoGP YouTube channel – CLICK HERE”At the moment nothing has changed. A state of alarm in Spain, in principal, doesn’t impact our situation,” Ezpeleta said. The new measures include a national night-time curfew between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00, with an hour of flexibility for each region.”We’re working during the race, and if there are restrictions on movement after 22:00 until the morning, it doesn’t impact us,” Ezpeleta added.”At the moment we can continue.”In any case we’re in close contact with authorities in each place, and at the moment we didn’t receive any kind of information about it.”The situation would become more complicated if travel restrictions between each region are imposed.Meanwhile, Ezpeleta is confident that MotoGP has shown it’s testing and monitoring protocols can detect and isolate Covid cases before widespread transmission. The most high-profile Covid case to date has been nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, forced to withdraw from both Aragon rounds. Jorge Martin (Moto2) and Tony Arbolino (Moto3) were also forced to miss events.”We are controlling the cases, there were some in Austria, and then in any place there have been one or two people who have been home and then have some problems before they return – some riders and some workers in the paddock,” said Ezpeleta.”But the most important thing is that, through the tests we’re doing, we are able to control everything and know what the situation is.”4″In principal right now we don’t see any problems in the future, but I repeat, we’re in close contact with authorities in each place. The remaining places are Valencia and Portimao, and at the moment we didn’t receive any queries.”The Valencia rounds are scheduled for November 8 and 15, with the new Portuguese finale on November 22.Revised 2020 MotoGP Calendar (including free weekends)RoundDateRaceCircuit119 JulySpainJerez226 JulyAndalusiaJerez  2 August  39 AugustCzech RepublicBrno416 AugustAustriaRed Bull Ring523 AugustStyriaRed Bull Ring 30 August   6 September  613 SeptemberSan Marino e Della Riviera di RiminiMisano720 SeptemberEmilia Romagna e Della Riviera di RiminiMisano827 SeptemberCatalunyaBarcelona 4 October  911 OctoberFranceLe Mans1018 OctoberAragonAragon1125 OctoberTeruelAragon 1 November  128 NovemberEuropeRicardo Tormo1315 NovemberComunitat ValencianaRicardo Tormo1422 NovemberPortugalPortimaoMotoGP 2020: List of Cancelled events18 MarchQatar (MotoGP class)Losail231 MayItalyMugello321 JuneGermanySachsenring428 JuneNetherlandsAssen512 JulyFinlandKymiRing630 AugustGreat BritainSilverstone74 OctoberThailandBuriram818 OctoberJapanMotegi925 OctoberAustraliaPhillip Island101 NovemberMalaysiaSepang1115 NovemberAmericasCOTA1222 NovemberArgentinaTermas de Rio Hondo”5
