Following the inaugural MotoE event at Sachsenring, it has been decided that a new Free Practice 3 session will be added to the electric-bike schedule for the next round in Austria.In Germany, the ‘E-Pole’ qualifying session was the only track time on Saturday but at the Red Bull Ring a 20-minute FP3 will take place at 8:30am local time.The extra session will also count towards the order in which riders head out for their E-Pole lap, which will now be decided by combined times from FP1, FP2 and FP3.At present, FP3 will only take place in Austria, due to the subsequent Misano and Valencia rounds being double headers.
