Haas reveals updated F1 livery after Uralkali split

The American outfit terminated its title sponsorship deal with Russian chemicals company Uralkali and driver Nikita Mazepin earlier this week in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Haas’ previous livery featured a design incorporating the colours of the Russian flag, with Uralkali’s branding featuring heavily. Mazepin and his billionaire father Dmitry, who co-owns Uralkali and is a close associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin, were both added to a list of Russians sanctioned over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. On Thursday, the team revealed its updated livery with Haas branding featuring predominately on a white, red and black coloursheme. The returning Kevin Magnussen, who has signed for Haas on a “multi-year contract” as a replacement for the ousted Mazepin, is in Bahrain and completed a seat fit on Thursday morning.
