Red Bull confirms F1 2019 launch date

The Red Bull Racing squad has confirmed it will reveal its new-look Honda-powered 2019 Formula 1 challenger on February 13 – the same day as Mercedes and Racing Point F1.

Red Bull become the penultimate F1 team to announce its new season launch date following Haas taking a February 7 reveal date – current the earliest of all F1 teams – which leaves just Williams to officially state its launch date.

Red Bull goes into 2019 with an all-new Honda power unit partnership following a successful maiden year of the Japanese manufacturers’ work with sister team Toro Rosso.

Max Verstappen is joined by Pierre Gasly in the Red Bull driver line-up for the upcoming F1 campaign with Daniel Ricciardo opting to switch to Renault.

Red Bull’s launch coincidences with Mercedes, who will run a private shakedown test at Silverstone, and Racing Point F1 who will launch at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto on February 13.
