Williams' F1 car to arrive in Barcelona on Wednesday

Williams expects to take delivery of its FW42 Formula 1 car at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya early on Wednesday morning, but says it is “unlikely” to get the car out in the opening session of the day.
Williams has been forced cancelled a planned shakedown and miss the first two days of pre-season testing in Barcelona as a result of ongoing delays with the build of its new car.
Having aimed to get on-track for the first time on Wednesday morning, a Williams spokeswoman issued an update on Tuesday afternoon confirming its car should arrive at the circuit between 4am and 5am tomorrow.
“Obviously there will still be a fair amount to do but we will be working as fast as we can,” the update said, adding the team was “unlikely” to run its new car before the lunchbreak at 1pm.
