Nakagami puts the 2020 Honda chassis on top of the timesheets during Free Practice 3 for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez, while Marc Marquez suffers a massive accident in the closing minutes of the session.
Returning to the scene of his broken right arm last July, Marquez lost the front of his Repsol Honda on entry to the fast Turn 7 – sending him skimming across the gravel and into the airfence.
The eight time world champion was clearly shaken but eventually able to walk away and returned to the pits on the back of a scooter, fortunately without any apparent damage to his right arm, which has required three rounds of surgery since last July.
After being examined at the medical centre, Repsol Honda confirmed that Marquez ‘has no major injuries, suffering only a contusion’.
BIG for @marcmarquez93!

Marquez was twelfth at the time of this fall and will now join the likes of Miller, Binder and his team-mate Espargaro in heading to Qualifying 1 this afternoon.
Binder also had a nasty fall after running off track at the entry to Turn 5 then being thrown from his KTM in the gravel trap, but the South African returned later in the session.
All riders went faster than on Friday, with the top ten places covered by a tiny 0.193s!
Morbidelli had a session-topping lap time deleted for exceeding track limits.
Injured rookie Jorge Martin is being replaced at Pramac by Rabat, while Bradl is making his first wild-card of the season after racing as a replacement for Marc Marquez in Qatar.
