2022 Spanish MotoGP, Jerez – Qualifying (1) Results

Johann Zarco and rookie Marco Bezzecchi lead Qualifying 1 for the Spanish MotoGP and now progress to the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice.

However, Alex Rins, tied on points with Fabio Quartararo at the top of the world championship standings, and Repsol Honda’s Pol Espargaro are among those to miss out.

Miguel Oliveira – quickest for much of FP4 – was without a flying lap until the closing minutes of Qualifying 1 due to some kind of technical issue…
