AlphaTauri name date for 2022 F1 car launch

The Faenza-based outfit has become the latest F1 team to confirm the date it will reveal its all-new challenger for the upcoming campaign. AlphaTauri posted on social media that its AT03 – that will be driven by Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda – will be unveiled to the public next month. Out of the five confirmed F1 car launches so far, AlphaTauri are set to be the third team to reveal their 2022 design, following Aston Martin and McLaren on February 10 and 11 respectively. Ferrari will then launch its as-yet-unnamed 2022 challenger – internally known as ‘project 674’ – on February 17, the day before reigning world champions Mercedes take the wraps off its W13. After enduring a mixed rookie season in which he ended the year 14th in the championship, Tsunoda will embark on his sophomore F1 season.
