Aston Martin set to unveil real 2022 F1 car at launch

The Silverstone-based outfit will be the third team to take the wraps off its new challenger for the upcoming 2022 season later this afternoon, and the team has confirmed the car it showcases will be the real AMR22. Red Bull unveiled its RB18 car on Wednesday but it became apparent the Milton Keynes team had simply used a show car at its online launch to present its livery and new title sponsor Oracle. Last week, Haas released digital renders of its VF-22, though the American squad admitted the images were not representative of the car that will hit the track in pre-season testing in Barcelona on February 23-25. Aston Martin will therefore have the honour of revealing the first real 2022 car when it launches the AMR22 at its Gaydon headquarters at 2pm GMT.
