No sporting or cultural event of world importance is economically possible to organise without proper public support,” explained Ivana Ulmanová, Director of Automotodrom Brno.As such, Brno will now focus on domestic motorsport and the commercial lease of the racetrack to clubs and agencies, pending the Covid restrictions.Related ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Rins: Nobody will know Marquez ‘reality’ until last momentaccImages.createImage(); Hikari Okubo takes over from Niki Tuuli at Ajo for MotoENo mention was made of whether the circuit hopes to return to the MotoGP World Championship calendar in 2022, or of any plans for a resurfacing in the near future.Rookie Brad Binder made history for KTM with its first ever MotoGP win in last year’s Brno race.Provisional 2021 MotoGP Calendar – January UpdateRoundDateRaceCircuit128 MarchQatar (Evening race)Losail24 AprilDoha (Evening race)Losail318 AprilPortugalPortimao42 MaySpainJerez516 MayFranceLe Mans630 MayItalyMugello76 JuneCatalunyaBarcelona820 JuneGermanySachsenring927 JuneNetherlandsAssen1011 JulyFinland (Subject to homologation)KymiRing1115 AugustAustriaRed Bull Ring1229 AugustGreat BritainSilverstone1312 SeptemberAragonAragon1419 SeptemberSan Marino e Della Riviera di RiminiMisano153 OctoberJapanMotegi1610 OctoberThailandBuriram1724 OctoberAustraliaPhillip Island1831 OctoberMalaysiaSepang1914 NovemberComunitat ValencianaRicardo TormoPostponed Grands Prix: 11 AprilArgentinaTermas 18 AprilAmericasCOTAReserve Grand Prix Venues:  Indonesia (Subject to homologation)Mandalika  RussiaIgora Drive2021 Pre-season Testing: 5 MarchQatar Shakedown TestLosail 6-7 MarchQatar Official TestLosail 10-12 MarchQatar Official TestLosailRelated ArticlesaccImages.createImage(); Rins not surprised if 2021 MotoGP season starts in EuropeaccImages.createImage(); LCR announces ‘rookie’ MotoE line-up to replace Canepa, Simeon
