Launched for the first time at Busworld 2017 in Belgium’s Kortrijk city and introduced right after at Busworld 2018 İzmir Fair, the Isuzu Novociti Life has received awards from 2 important institutions before even hitting the roads. The Isuzu Novociti Life has received the “Good Design Award” at the Design Turkey competition, Turkey’s most prestigious design organization that was held at the end of 2017 as part of Turquality. Then, it has received its first foreign award at A’Design Award & Competition in April 2018, with the “Gold A’Design Award”.
Right After a Delivery of 80 Vehicles, It Is Now the Turn for A 218-Vehicle Delivery
Right after receiving the awards, Isuzu has made a giant delivery of 80 vehicles to Bingöl; however, the company’s goals are now much higher. With such high demand from both domestic and foreign markets to the Isuzu Novociti Life that brings the comforts of a bus into a midibus, the production continues in full swing at the Anadolu Isuzu factory as well.
Isuzu has received very high Novociti Life orders from all across Turkey. Right after Bingöl, the company has received a total of 218 Novociti Life orders, including: 95 units to Private Public Bus Cooperative in Sivas, 36 units to the Municipality’s subsidiary Yüntaş in Afyon, a total of 52 units to the Özat, Alahan and Anayazı cooperatives in Hatay Serinyol, 22 units to Mardin Kızıltepe Public Bus Cooperative and 13 units to İstanbul Mavi Marmara Ulaşım A.Ş.
Just as in the domestic market, Anadolu Isuzu receives a lot of attention abroad as well. With its dealership and service structure and product variety, the company takes firm steps towards becoming a global brand. With France, Italy and Poland in particular. it receives a lot of demand from various European countries.
Low Floor Midibus With Comforts of a Bus
The new Isuzu Novociti Life has come up as a solution to different market needs with its low floor. Instead of a large and medium-size bus, the Novociti Life aims for narrow city streets with its small-size bus concept. Thanks to its low floor structure, it also helps ensure greater involvement of the handicapped and elderly population in social life.
With its 8 m. length, the Novociti Life establishes a new segment between the 9.5 m. long Citibus model and 7,5 m. long Novociti model in Anadolu Isuzu’s bus product line-up. It shines out with its bus design at midibus dimensions. FPT’s NEF4 model engine that has been position at the back of the Novociti Life according to the model’s low floor design and produces 186 horse power and 680 nm. of torque. FPT’s engine technology ensures Euro 6C emission norms without requiring the EGR (exhaust gas recycling) system. This technology also helps achieve high energy efficiency with low fuel consumption. The Novociti Life is offered with both ZF manual transmission and Allison automatic transmission options to both domestic and foreign markets.
With a total of 60 passenger capacity, the spacious Novociti Life features a special passenger glass design that ensures effective use of sunlight inside the vehicle, while allowing even wheelchair passengers to easily use the side windows. This allows wheelchair passengers to comfortably see the exterior and take advantage of Novociti Life’s human-centric smart design.
