Formula 1 has confirmed it will hold a minute’s silence ahead of today’s Belgian Grand Prix in memory of Anthoine Hubert, who died on Saturday in the Formula 2 Feature Race.Hubert, 22, was killed following a multi-driver accident at Raidillon that saw his car get struck by Juan Manuel Correa after hitting the wall at the top of the hill. Tributes since have poured in from across the motorsport world for Hubert, who was a member of Renault’s F1 junior programme.F1 confirmed in its updated race day schedule in Belgium that it would be holding a minute’s silence on the grid in memory of Hubert, taking place at 1453 local time in Belgium. This will be followed by the national anthem.A minute’s silence will also be held ahead of the Formula 3 race, which will take place at 1050 when Sunday’s F2 Sprint Race was due to take place prior to its cancellation.The F3 race will be the first on-track running since Saturday’s F2 race was suspended, and will be followed by the Porsche Supercup race before the build-up to the Belgian Grand Prix begins.
