Formula 1’s Tuscan Grand Prix has been red-flagged for a second time following a huge for Racing Point driver Lance Stroll.Check out the F1 YouTube channel – CLICK HEREThe race had already been suspended once early on following a multi-car following a Safety Car restart, and was halted for a second time on Lap 46 after Stroll ed heavily at Arrabbiata.Stroll reported he had sustained a puncture at the flat-out run through Arrabbiata but the Canadian appeared to suffer a mechanical failure that sent him flying into the barriers at around 170mph.Stroll walked away unscathed from the incident but his RP20 was destroyed in the impact and left smouldering away in the gravel as marshals worked to clear it.The incident initial brought out a Safety Car but that quickly turned into a second red flag period of the afternoon on what is F1’s first visit to Mugello for a race.Race-leader Lewis Hamilton had passed Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas at the second start, having initially lost out to his main championship rival at the first standing start.The race will resume with just 12 cars lining up on the grid after Stroll joined Esteban Ocon, Nicholas Latifi, Kevin Magnussen, Antonio Giovinazzi, Carlos Sainz, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly in the list of retirees on the sidelines.SAFETY CAROut comes the Safety Car and then a RED FLAG is calledDrivers have returned to the pit lane#TuscanGP #F1 nmcfwNm861— Formula 1 (@F1) September 13, 2020Stroll is ok, and out of his carIt looks like a rear left puncture caused him to come off track#TuscanGP #F1 1jHlFhoMOi— Formula 1 (@F1) September 13, 2020
