Ferrari has announced its Formula 1 proteges Mick Schumacher, Callum Ilott and Robert Shwartzman will each get practice outings before the end of the 2020 season.Check out the F1 YouTube channel – CLICK HERECurrent Formula 2 championship leader Schumacher, the son of seven-times world champion Michael, will make his grand prix weekend debut during opening free practice at the Eifel Grand Prix at the Nurburgring.Schumacher will take the place of Antonio Giovinazzi for FP1 at the Nurburgring, while Ilott, who is 18 points behind Schumacher in the championship, will make his practice bow for Haas, in place of Romain Grosjean. Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner previously said the US outfit would be willing to run a Ferrari Academy member during an FP1 session this season as the Scuderia looks to place its rising stars on the F1 grid in 2021.cnxps.cmd.push(function () { cnxps({ playerId: “004d570a-7977-45f7-bc0c-a349bf945b15” }).render(“5a36b5247b9f4bf5b8815714b45226d6Haas is yet to decide on its driver plans for 2021 but is open to completely revising its line-up, and its close ties to Ferrari could open the door for one of the Italian squad’s youngsters to take a seat next year.Three-time F2 race winner and reigning Formula 3 champion Shwartzman will get an FP1 outing at the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
