Marc Marquez has continued his track training ahead of next month’s Sepang MotoGP test, this time with an outing on a CBR600RR at Aragon.It came just days after Marquez returned to a road racing circuit for the first time since victory in last October’s Misano MotoGP with a Sunday track day at Portimao on an RC213V-S.That ride confirmed that the eight-time world champion’s recovering right eye could withstand the high-speed rigours of MotoGP action, following nerve damage and double vision issues in an enduro training accident, clearing the way for a MotoGP return in Malaysia.”I didn’t have any discomfort with my vision,” Marquez said after Portimao. “Since I haven’t ridden in so long, I did notice some physical areas where I’m missing a little bit but this is just because I have not been able to have my usual pre-season.Related ‘Large-scale resurfacing’ at COTA ahead of 2022 Moto Ducati: We need to help Jack save tyre for second part of races”We have two weeks until testing begins in Sepang so I will take the opportunity to intensify my physical preparation and train on the bike.”Marquez missed the opening two races of last season due to his recovering right arm fracture, then the last two due to the eye problem.
