He may be the only non-Italian riding a Ducati GP19 on the manufacturer’s home soil this weekend but Jack Miller is confident he can get amongst the local celebrations at Mugello. The Australian, who will ride in a special yellow livery in honour of iconic Italian sponsors Lamborghini this weekend, has enjoyed a strong start to the season aboard the Pramac entry with a trio of top four results placing him sixth overall after five races.Heading to Italy on the back of a strong showing at Le Mans, where he briefly battled Marc Marquez for the lead and finished on the tail of the factory Ducatis in fourth position, Miller believes the bike’s notorious strengths at Mugello will see him up there again this weekend.“It was nice to be there from the start of the weekend, Le Mans is a track that suits my style, I really get along with it well. After Jerez it was necessary, I struggled there so it was nice to get some decent points back on the board.“I am looking forward to it this year. I think we have a really decent package underneath us for the bike and the set up we’ve got.“We just have to keep that up, I learnt so much last week, it was nice to be up there battling with Marc even if it was only for a lap and a half.”With three DNFs and a 15th place from four MotoGP starts at Mugello, Miller has a disappointing record in Italy but he isn’t allowing it to faze him.“I haven’t had the best luck here in the past, but I have been quick. Last year was a strange one, we were strong all weekend and had a good qualifying. I felt really great going into the race but the second chicane caught me out.” . @PramacRacing and Automobili @Lamborghini together again at Mugello with a special livery by Centro Stilehttps://t.co/oleeSkRvFc RRQXCCtYX8— Pramac Racing MotoGP (@pramacracing) May 30, 2019
