2020 MotoGP Standings
Combined lap times from Tuesday’s Official MotoGP Test, at Misano.
Session 1 took place from 9:30-13:00, followed by a lunch break, with Session 2 from 14:00-18:00.
Espargaro led the morning session for KTM with a 1m 32.054s, with Vinales then topping Session 2 for Yamaha with a time of 1m 31.532s.
That compared with last weekend’s pole position lap of 1m 31.411s (Vinales) and fastest race lap of 1m 32.706 (Bagnaia).
Tyre selection for the test was the same as for the Misano races.
With engine development frozen for most manufacturers until the end of 2021, many factory teams were trying chassis and – in the case of Yamaha and Honda- exhaust updates at the test.

Sunday’s race winner Franco Morbidelli did not take part due to a ‘stomach upset’.
Also absent was Honda’s Stefan Bradl – at least one of his 2020 machines being used by Nakagami – and Tech3 KTM’s Iker Lecuona. Ducati riders Dovizioso and Bagnaia halted testing after Session 1.
The day ended with some practice starts.
