Wet weather at Le Mans finally allowed Jake Dixon to show his riding talent on the Angel Nieto KTM Moto2 machine.Only 29th quickest during a dry opening day, the British rider was a contender at the front throughout a damp Saturday, qualifying a best-yet eleventh despite a tyre issue. But the return of dry weather on race day saw him slip outside the points and – assuming no new developments arrive for the troubled original KTM chassis (the factory team received a new frame at Le Mans) – Dixon fears it could be a tough new event for him at Mugello this weekend.”I am looking forward to racing at Mugello, in front of the Italian fans. It is a historic circuit that I have seen on television many times over the years and I have heard a lot of good things about it,” he said.”I have only ever raced it on my games console and even though I have done a lot of laps it will be completely different on the bike this weekend.”Our expectations haven’t changed after the race in France and we know that in the dry, with the situation as it is, we have to keep fighting.”
