– Scott Redding has joked Andrea Dovizioso has already ‘retired’ from MotoGP after failing to get the better of Marc Marquez in their battle for the 2017 MotoGP World Championship, claiming it was his best opportunity to land Ducati the championship trophy. He said ‘I thought Dovizioso retired a couple of years ago after losing the World Cup in Valencia to the last race, that was his chance…’Despite the rather pointed statement, Redding maintains he is full of respect for Dovizioso – whose future remains unknown as he stalls on a new deal with Ducati over financial matters – adding ‘in recent seasons Andrea has shown himself to be a great rider, strong, who has always fought with all his strength against Marc together with Ducati’ (GPOne)- Pramac Racing boss Francesco Guidotti has weighed in on the brewing discontent between Dovizioso and Ducati, saying their difficulties in striking a new MotoGP deal after several years suggests ‘something is not right’ in the partnership. Nonetheless, he goes on to say a sabbatical year for Dovizioso would be a ‘risk’ at this stage in his career (Sky Sports MotoGP via Paddock GP)- The Marquez brothers will ‘marq’ the opening round of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship by clubbing together to wear specially designed helmets in Jerez. The lids have ‘Pushing Ahead Together’ motifs which is surrounded by reminders of the various jobs, tasks and activities the pair undertook during the lockdown period. The helmets will then be auctioned off after the race with all proceeds going to the Spanish Red Cross.Una temporada diferente, un primer GP en julio, una situación inusual… y un casco especial!A different season, first GP in July, an unusual situation… and a special helmet!Designed by #DaveDesigns #PushingAheadTogether #MM93 #SpanishGP @Allianz_es @CruzRojaEsp AvkD1cAcP8— Marc Márquez (@marcmarquez93) July 9, 2020- Valentino Rossi may be gearing up for the start of the belated 2020 MotoGP season with some private testing at Misano, but it’s not just two-wheels he has been busily training on with an outing in the Kessel Ferrari 488 GT3.Valentino Rossi sta girando a Misano: un test sulla Ferrari del Kessel: VIDEO – Qualche fotogramma rubato in pista e la conferma che Valentino si sta allenando tra i cordoli del Marco Simoncelli con la 488 GT3.
