By signing up to the newsletter you agree to receive emails from that may occasionally include promotional content Leave this field blank Former MotoGP rider and five-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo has been extremely vocal about Cal Crutchlow since being replaced by the Brit as Yamaha’s new test rider for 2021. This dates back to last season when Lorenzo called Yamaha’s move to replace him with Crutchlow as, ‘exchanging gold for bronze’. The pair’s relationship has not gotten better since, with Lorenzo continuing to voice his opinions on the British rider, which also involved showing an image of Crutchlow ing at Phillip Island.The post in question is from the official MotoGP Instagram account, where it shows Crutchlow in the gravel after a fall at turn two of the opening Qatar test. Crutchlow was not alone though as several other riders went down at the same corner including Alex Marquez and Maverick Vinales. You are already 26. Focus on what’s important and don’t waste your talent.”Pacesetter on day one of the opening test Aleix Espargaro also got involved when replying to the BT Sport MotoGP twitter account. Espargaro responded to Lorenzo and his comments by saying: “I prefer to be [a] good human than a champion! Speaking about the original comments that were made in November, Crutchlow said: “At the end of the day I don’t really have anything to say to him.”While this is sure to rumble on, the second test at the Losail International Circuit begins tomorrow, with a three day test for riders and teams ahead of the season opener on March 28. “4
