After delivering news earlier in the week that Miguel Oliveira and Alex Rins are close to having their MotoGP futures confirmed, Marquez could also be about to add his name to that list. Oliveira looks set to sign a two-year deal at Aprilia with RNF Racing, while Rins is expected to replace Marquez at LCR Honda. With the second seat at LCR expected to come down to either Takaaki Nakagami or Ai Ogura – the latter is rumoured to be the favourite – Marquez’s future looks to be away from Honda. Pol Espargaro rumoured with KTM returnAnother rider who could be close to having his future decided is Espargaro, as a move back to KTM appears likely. “4 While it won’t be in the form of a factory seat, Espargaro is likely to remain on factory machinery with Tech 3 KTM. Should such a move take place then the Spaniard will either replace Remy Gardner or Raul Fernandez – more likely to be the latter as RNF is rumoured to be looking at the former Moto2 star.
