Following the closure of the Sepang Racing Team, Jake Dixon has been officially confirmed as staying in the Moto2 class for 2022, by returning to Aspar.Aspar was the team Dixon spent his first full-time grand prix season with in 2019, then using a KTM chassis, before switching to SRT and Kalex, where he has taken a best finish of fourth place.”ad_Dixon – who also made two stand-in MotoGP appearances for SRT this season, but was overlooked for the 2022 RNF M1 ride in favour of Darryn Binder – will join current Aspar rider Albert Arenas as the GASGAS-titled team switches from the current Boscoscuro chassis to the dominant Kalex.“It’s great to be back with Aspar and the GASGAS team for 2022,” said Dixon. “Returning to the team feels like coming home and to keep with familiar equipment is another plus.Related Valencia MotoGP, Circuit Ricardo Tormo – Free Practice (3) Valencia Moto3 Grand Prix, Ricardo Tormo – Free Practice (3) Results”I’m already excited to know what we can do next season and I cannot thank the team enough for the opportunity.
