Full British MotoGP warm-up results at SilverstoneFabio Quartararo has seen off Marc Marquez to headline warm-up ahead of the British MotoGP as the pair demonstrate superior pace compared to the rest of the field at Silverstone.The pair traded fastest lap times throughout the 20-minute morning session with the Petronas Yamaha rider coming out on top with a 1m 59.609s, just 0.070s quicker than the Repsol Honda rider who starts from pole position at Silverstone today.Andrea Dovizioso led the charge behind the front two, almost a quarter of a second slower over a single lap, as he claimed third place for Ducati.Fresh from taking his first front row start since the Americas MotoGP, Valentino Rossi surged up to fourth place late on having been producing laps outside of the top 10 on the factory Yamaha before his final lap effort using the hard front and rear tyre combination.Alex Rins rounded out the top five on the Suzuki, also using both hard front and rear tyres in warm-up like Rossi while the majority of the field opted for a medium front and hard rear, as he edged out Maverick Vinales in sixth place for Monster Yamaha.Cal Crutchlow ended warm-up in seventh place for LCR Honda, using the latest aerodynamic fairing on his RC213V, as Petronas Yamaha’s Franco Morbidelli took eighth place ahead of Ducati’s Danilo Petrucci.Jack Miller recovered from a run into the gravel at Stowe corner to complete the top 10 on the Pramac Ducati in front of LCR Honda’s Takaaki Nakagami and Red Bull KTM’s Pol Espargaro.With Aleix Espargaro 13th for Aprilia, he headed up KTM duo Miguel Oliveira and Johann Zarco with Suzuki’s Sylvain Guintoli 16th as he stands in for the injured Joan Mir. Andrea Iannone slotted into 17th for Aprilia with Tito Rabat in 18th for Avintia Ducati.Hafizh Syahrin (Tech 3), Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Ducati), Karel Abraham (Avintia Ducati) all ended warm-up ahead of the struggling Jorge Lorenzo in last position for Repsol Honda on his injury comeback.
