Full FP3 results at the Aragon MotoGPAlex Rins has claimed top spot in FP3 at Aragon as one of the few riders to switch to Michelin dry tyres in the closing minutes of the damp session. With heavy overnight rain soaking the MotorLand Aragon circuit, the track remained wet for the majority of the session which restrained lap times from challenging the best efforts produced during Friday practice. As a result, the combined top 10 and automatic Q2 spots remains unchanged – leaving Suzuki’s Rins and Ducati’s Danilo Petrucci as the high-profile names heading into Q1.But Rins was able to lead the FP3 times using dry soft tyres with a 1m 55.934s to beat Maverick Vinales who led the efforts on the wet tyres on his Monster Yamaha.Mika Kallio impressed for Red Bull KTM with third place in the mixed up session ahead of Petronas Yamaha’s Franco Morbidelli and Tech3 KTM’s Miguel Oliveira.Francesco Bagnaia got some much-needed running to regain his confidence on the Pramac Ducati after a tough run of races as he finished FP3 in sixth place ahead of factory Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi and Aprilia wildcard Bradley Smith. With Fabio Quartararo in ninth place for Petronas Yamaha, Joan Mir completed the top 10 having already secured his Q2 spot yesterday for Suzuki.Takaaki Nakagami missed out in 11th for LCR Honda with Petrucci ahead of Pol Espargaro on the Red Bull KTM and Ducati team-mate Andrea Dovizioso. With Hafizh Syahrin 15th in FP3 for Tech3 KTM, Jorgre Lorenzo (Repsol Honda), Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) and Karel Abraham (Avintia Ducati) were the final riders to complete times in the session.Marc Marquez completed a couple of out-laps but did not set a time in the session.”4
