Spanish Moto2 Grand Prix, Jerez – Free Practice (3) Results

Jake Dixon stays on the top of the timesheets, with countryman Sam Lowes rising to second, during Moto2 FP3 at Jerez.

With Keminth Kubo‘s diagnosed with costochondritis (inflammation of the rib joint) after FP1, Stefano Manzi will replace the Thai rider for the remainder of the weekend.

“We needed a replacement rider for Kubo, so thanks to the [VR46] Academy we found Stefano Manzi,” said Yamaha VR46 Master Camp team sports director Gelete Nieto.

“He is welcome in our team, and we will work a lot with him today and tomorrow to make him feel as comfortable as possible. It will be interesting to watch his return to the Moto2. He is experienced in this class, so it will be interesting to work with him.”

The top 14 riders on combined times receive direct access to Qualifying 2.
