TIRSAN TO CONDUCT ATP TESTS IN FORTY-NINE COUNTRIES

Tırsan has always been by the side of its customers with its state-of-the-art vehicles and innovative solutions. The company will be able to test the vehicles of all the national and international brands at its recently established ATP test centre in its Adapazarı facilities. At its ATP Type Test Centre, Tırsan will be able to conduct the necessary tests for the ATP certificate that is required for all international perishable food transportation companies according to the ATP agreement that came into force in Turkey on May 15, 2017. Tırsan has proved its competence in conducting various tests at its R&D Centre according to international legislations and received international awards for them. The company will now test the vehicles of all national and international brands at its R&D Centre and through TSE, it will grant a certificate that will be valid in 49 countries including Turkey.

Tırsan will be able to conduct the tests that were previously done at countries like Germany, Italy and Greece. These tests were cumbersome to transporters in terms of both process and cost. As a result, the company will help the logistics sector eliminate both loss of time and the burden of cost.

Award Winning R&D Centre with International Standards

In 2009, Tırsan has found the first and only R&D Centre of the Turkish trailer sector and the company broke ground for its 2nd R&D Centre in Gebze. While Tırsan develops technologies at its R&D Centre that was named 1st in 2017 Automotive and Sub Industry R&D Centre event, it also continues to offer services to its customers. Accordingly, Tırsan will not just test and approve submissions from Turkey for the ATP certificate at its new test centre but also submissions of other countries. Meanwhile, it will also perform the periodic maintenance of the vehicles.

Tırsan Chairman Çetin Nuhoğlu has indicated that companies that can keep up with the advancement and transformation of technology can survive and grow, while those that can’t keep up are left behind in competition. He said: “As producing value is our top priority at Tırsan, we invest in research-development projects and partnerships to offer the right vehicle solution to the right customer in over 55 countries around the world. We have reached the physical capacity limits of our Adapazarı R&D Centre that has been operating since 2009. As we support our company’s goal to reach production of 20.000 trailers each year with products we will develop at our new centre, we will also perform the design, prototype production and development tests of certain product groups at our new facility. As a result, we help our transporter friends to save in terms of both time and cost, while offering them an opportunity to overcome the difficulties they encounter in the sector. With our state-of-the-art 2nd R&D Centre, we won’t just become the biggest test centre in Turkey but also Europe.”
