The first race of the season is just six days away, and Gardner will be hoping to put forward a championship challenge given the form shown late last season and in testing so far. The Australian topped two separate sessions during Official testing at Losail, with one on the opening day and another on day two, before finishing the test third on combined times. “I am very satisfied with the work we did over these three days. Despite the conditions not being so good, in general, we set a strong pace,” said Gardner.”We are clear about things for next weekend, and that is the important thing. I want to thank the team for everything. I can’t wait for the first race of the year.”A big takeaway from the three days of testing, has been the impressive rookie adaptations to the Moto2 class.
