“The FIA is aware of media speculation centred on the allegation of information of a confidential nature being passed to an F1 team principal from a member of FOM personnel,” a statement read. “The FIA Compliance Department is looking in to the matter.”The husband and wife duo have been named by Motorsport as those being investigated.Toto is the team principal of Mercedes and Susie is the managing director of the F1 Academy – and their respective jobs are the root cause of complaints against them.There have been concerns that they could be privy to information which would represent a conflict of interest.The claim is that Toto could access information about Formula One Group, which runs the F1 Academy, through his wife.
