Williams has offered a first look at its new FW42 Formula 1 car that will race in 2019 after releasing a set of rendered images on Friday afternoon.

Williams unveiled its new livery and title sponsor, Rokit, in an event on Monday, but opted to fit its revised colour scheme to its 2018 car, the FW41.

The first look at the FW42 came in the release of a short 360-degree video and a handful of images via Twitter on Friday, three days prior to the start of on-track testing in Barcelona.

Drivers George Russell and Robert Kubica will first sample the Williams FW42 in the early part of next week, with on-track running in Barcelona beginning on Monday.

The team had intended to complete a shakedown with the new car in Barcelona this weekend, only to cancel its plans as it is running behind schedule with the build of the car.
